“Mind training is based on the idea that two opposite mental factors cannot happen at the same time. You could go from love to hate. But you cannot, at the same time — toward the same object, the same person — want to harm and want to do good.”
-Matthieu Richard
Matthieu Richard, a monk, author and photographer, is often called the "happiest man in the world". After leaving behind biochemistry in Europe to move to the Himalayas to become a Bhuddist monk, Richard was able to find happiness on a deeper level than ever expected. He has wrote several books on pursuing happiness, including 'The Quantum and the Lotus: A Journey to the Frontiers Where Science and Buddhism Meet', as well as 'Happiness: A Guide to Developing Life's Most Important Skill'.
Not only has Richard been the subject of vigorous clinical tests, but he has been proactive in humanitarian projects.
